Martin Cole papers, 1955-1983 [manuscript].

Letters written to and received from 302 authors of books for boys. All of the letters are either written by Martin Cole to an author, or are responses from the authors to Mr. Cole. The letters date from 1955 to 1983. The text of most letters deals with Mr. Cole asking for an autographed copy of one of the authors' books for his collection, as well as a discussion of their work. The collection also includes a dummy for a book written by Mr. Cole, Their eyes on the skies.
