Among the topics discussed in the letters, Mrs. Ann Morton related to her uncle, Holbrook Curtis, the story of a trip abroad; Sarah Chapman gave Holbrook Curtis her opinion of the best preparatory schools for boys in Connecticut; and Sarah Chapman detailed a trip to New York and Cincinatti and her appreciation of the growth of the west and the greatness of the country.
