A collection of letters between member of the Chapman and Curtis families, mostly in Hartford and Watertown, Connecticut. Among the topics discussed in the letters, Mrs. Ann Morton related to her uncle, Holbrook Curtis, the story of a trip abroad; Sarah Chapman gave Holbrook Curtis her opinion of the best preparatory schools for boys in Connecticut; and Sarah Chapman detailed a trip to New York and Cincinatti and her appreciation of the growth of the west and the greatness of the country.
