A volume of original poetry written by G. Forrester Barstow. A native of Massachusetts, Barstow was living in Putnam, Connecticut, by 1860. Includes a section of Political and Patriotic Songs. At the beginning of the volume the poems are handwritten. Toward the end they are pasted-in newspaper clippings.
