George Brinley papers, 1852-1855.

Two volumes of writings by George Brinley and a folder of assorted family correspondence. One of the volumes is a diary kept by George Brinley, of Hartford, Connecticut, between 1852 and 1855. The second volume contains autobiographical sketches of Brinley's life copied, most likely, by his daughter Elizabeth. The exterior of that volume contains her initials.
