Jonathan Dayton (October 16, 1760 – October 9, 1824) was an American politician from the U.S. state of New Jersey. He was the youngest person to sign the United States Constitution and a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, serving as its third Speaker, and later in the U.S. Senate. Henry Chase Marble (1885-1965), MD, 1910, Harvard Medical School, was a surgeon at Massachusetts General Hospital where he served as Chief of the MGH Fracture Clinic and the MGH Hand Clinic. Marble specialized in orthopedic surgery and injuries to the hand. Marble served as Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Base Hospital No. 6, organized and staffed by MGH, in France during World War I. In response to the expansion of the Continental Army the number of staff was increased and reorganized in 1776. Changes included the creation of a new unit to supplement George Washington's personal staff.
