Abstract

Journals of trips around Nova Scotia to collect guano. Also journal mentioning Wallace's trip from Philadelphia to Venezuela on the steamer John K. Flamitt. He obtained a contract to remove all the guano from all of the islands belonging to the Venezuelan government, but this was later disputed.
