Includes rate cards arranged by county, then town, then street, each card listing the risk code number, physical description (includes number of stories, construction materials, etc.) codes and rate percentages, date and rate as issued. Rates were all assigned by Insurance Services Office, Quincy, Mass., with any corrections noted in brackets with the date. When the company transferred its files to microfiche for ease of updating, the cards became obsolete. Includes blue county, town, and town subdivision marker cards, each section further subdivided by yellow cards noting the street name, and followed usually be west/east or north/south. Sheets are provided explaining the rate card codes. Rate cards for all of Maine were maintained, with the exception of Aroostook County.
