Writing sympathetically and at length about the loss of her husband; mentioning a letter from Mr. Wells [widower of Joanna Wells] that he wishes to send her but has misplaced; indicating that he will show her letter to Mr. Madox Brown; discussing a drawing he wishes to do of her husband and requesting a daguerreotype she had mentioned or possibly a more recent photo to help him along; discussing a prefatory biographical notice on her husband that should "surely now be prefixed to the Life of Blake"; reminding her of his offer of assistance regarding publication of the book; mentioning that he "sent the books to the London Library."
