Correspondence to Lizzie E. Kendall (also known as Sarah E. Kendall) of Portland, Me., from Mary S. Morrill, a missionary at Tientsin, China; and from Lottie Manrose, a teacher at Kohola, Hawaii. Morrill, with her friend Annie A. Gould, also of Portland, Me., died in the Paotingfu massacre during the Boxer Rebellion in China (1900). Persons represented include Sarah E. Kendall.
