Volumes 1-3 and docket books are from Parris' early years: one as justice of the peace and one from the Maine Court of Common Pleas. Volumes 4-9 are docket books from Parris's term on the State Supreme Court. Volume 10: Acts and Resolutions of the Twenty-ninth Congress, interleaved with mss. from his term as Second Comptroller. Finally volumes 11 and 12 are undated docket books. Also included is an envelope of loose manuscripts consisting mostly of accounts and some notes on court cases.
