Biographical and genealogical material, birth and baptismal certificates, citizenship papers, marriage certificates and other legal documents, correspondence, photographs, two books authored by Stange's brother-in-law, Adolf Weidig, composer and violinist for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (1892-1896), and a transcript of a speech (1986) made by Stange's grandson, Ramon Hernandez, to the Ann Arbor (Mich.) Rotary Club about the history of the Ann Arbor May Festival and also about Stange and Weidig, their coming to America from Germany, and their musical histories.
