Letters, printed material, essays, and photographs documenting Greer's World War I experiences including letters from Greer to his parents, Sarah I. Greer and Hal Wyche Greer, describing daily military life in France and his combat experiences, several clippings reproducing all or part of other wartime letters, two brief post-war essays referring to his military service, and photographs, primarily snapshots taken during his army career, including several of military aircraft and some photographs of family.
