Autobiography series includes autobiography binders (1-5) relating to Arndt's family; his wife, Johanne Marie Karoline Salomon, and her family; Trinity Lutheran Church, East Saginaw, Mich., where he was pastor; Pomerania where he was born; his student years at Concordia College, Fort Wayne, Ind.; congregations in East Saginaw, Mich.; his missionary work in Michigan and Canada; his years as a teacher of science, mathematics, and U.S. history at Concordia College, St. Paul, Minn.; detailed description of his elaborate bird and insect collection; his work as assistant pastor at St. Stephanus Lutheran Church, St. Paul, Minn., and missionary work in the area; history of the villages of Quetzen and Lahde, Westphalia, Germany; and a complete church chronicle of Lahde including a shipping list of most Germans who emigrated from this area.
