Patent granting a tract of land in Prince William County, Va., to William Tassey and James Tassey by Thomas, Lord Fairfax, and signed by his agent, William Fairfax, 1741; patent granting a tract of 580 acres in Fairfax County (now Loudoun County), Va., to John Hough by Thomas, Lord Fairfax, and signed by his agent, William Fairfax, 1754; subpoena for Benjamin Bright to appear before the Loudoun County county court, 1766; and militia rolls listing names of soldiers and officers of units in the Virginia militia, 1778.

This land grant was issued in 1741 by Thomas, 6th Lord Fairfax, Baron of Cameron, to Richard Brown (d. 1745), descendent of Quaker minister William Brown. The grant was one of five that Richard Brown had received in Virginia's Northern Neck; at the time of his death, he owned a total of 2,774 acres in Loudoun County.
