Photographs (8 x 10 in.) of oil paintings and sketches, probably by Henry Woodward, of Hepsibeth Hemenway, daughter of Nipmuc Indian mother and white father, who worked as laundress and cook/baker in Worcester, Mass., (1780s-1840s), and kept alive her Nipmuc heritage, passing it along to later generations; together with photograph of map of Worcester by Caleb Butler (including Hemenway's house), proofs, and negatives.
