Warren J. Frowe papers, 1936-1978.

Collection contains a scrapbook, which consists of correspondence, clippings, photographs, and miscellaneous printed material concerning Frowe's aviation career. Collection also contains oversized photographs and posters of airliner instrument panels and Frowe's personal artifacts; including a leather satchel, airline pilot uniform, flight calculators, a Capital Airlines umbrella, and a pilot's radio headset. Miscellaneous books, periodicals, and publications are in this collection as well.

Warren J. Frowe was an airline pilot between the 1940s and 1970s. After serving a brief stint in the U.S. Naval Air Service at the beginning of World War II, Frowe became an airline pilot for Pan American-Grace Airways in 1942. From 1944 to 1961, he flew for Pennsylvania Central Airlines and its successor Capital Airlines. During the 1960s and 1970s, Frowe was a pilot for United Airlines. From the description of Warren J.
