Miscellaneous Publications 1886-1919 [microform]

This collection consists of miscellaneous works published by the General Synod's Woman's Home and Foreign Missionary Society. These items include a set of dialogues and exercises titled The Missionary Mosaic for use at women's and children's missionary society meetings, a Silver Jubilee prayer calendar from 1905, an anecdotal history of the Thank-Offering, and an issue of The King's Message, a monthly illustrated publication for children published by the WHFMS Executive Committee. A prayer written by the Rev. Albert Studebaker in 1908 is also included. Rev. Studebaker's wife was a member of the General Literature Committee. There is also what appears to be a short play "Thru the Gate in the Wall," written in 1915 by Isabel Crawford Schoch. The materials are in fair condition. Care should be taken with handling the manuscript of the play. The paper is fragile, and it appears that some pages were cut or torn in half. Files are arranged chronologically. At the end of the microfilm reel that includes this series, there is one additional publication from GS 16/6 Non-Society Publications, titled "Pictures and Portraits in Foreign Mission Fields of the General Synod, 1893."
