Hugh Montgomery papers, 1828-1841.

Certified copy of plat and certificate of survey filed in the Principal Deputy Surveyor's Office, Baton Rouge, La. (1829). Original survey and plat describes tract of land situated between the Amite River and Sandy Creek in the District of St. Helena made for the heirs of Nancy Hutson (1828). Plat of land containing a true sketch of the lands in Township 5, between the Amite River and Sandy Creek, owned by Hugh Montgomery and Thomas Young's heirs, Norris Foster, Nancy Hutson, Terrance O. Riley and Joseph D. Minter, from the records of the United States Land Office, Greensburg, La. (1841).
