Western Sorosis records, 1894-2007.

The Western Sorosis records include yearbooks dating back to 1894; scrapbooks; clippings; minutes; membership lists; essays; program notes & notebooks; and the Western Sorosis Chronicle, January 1994, and Sorosis Past. The bulk of the collections consists of minutes discussing membership, dues, activities, and programs and providing treasurer's reports. The scrapbooks contain clippings and photographs concerning club meetings, conferences, and celebrations. The collection also contains several research essays on historical topics written by club members. Topics include but are not limited to children of the presidents, Joseph Pulitzer, Nikola Tesla, the B-29 airplane, Christmas traditions, Chinese history, and the Congo.
