Leavenworth history collection, 1856 - 1969.

This collection consists of assembled materials from various sources regarding the history of Leavenworth, Kansas. Materials are mostly specific to the city of Leavenworth. Types of materials include legal and local government documents; club and other social grouping records; records from professional associations such as the Leavenworth Teachers Association or the Leavenworth Livestock and Breeders Association, letters to and from local businessmen; volumes from Drovers Bank; and other similar materials. Most of the collection consists of minute and cash books, members' accounts, visitors' registers, and other such volumes from Rebekah Lodge No. 520 for throughout the late 19th and first half of the 20th centuries.
