Community Life, Education and Training Photographs 1962-1965

This series comprises 163 black & white and color photographs depicting aspects of the Lutheran Deaconess House and School (LDHS) that relate to education and training and community life. The images include investitures and consecrations, a deaconess leadership installation, and conferences and conventions. A majority of the photographs include identification. Several photographs are undated, but the bulk of the collection dates from 1962-1965. Photographs of note include those of consecrations for each year of the existence of the LDHS and those that chronicle the church secretary program offered by the LDHS on its Baltimore campus.
