Letter written in reply to David R. Coker's letter of 15 Feb. 1922 concerning Lowry's son, Stuart, who was at that time in Hartsville, S.C., studying the cotton business in Darlington County with Coker. Lowry thanks Coker and his wife for their kindness to Stuart and his family. Lowry notes that he was trying to secure a job for Stuart in Paris, Texas, but advising that it was not yet time him to return to England, as "I want him to gain further experience in the American end of the business, so that when he comes back here eventually he will have completed his training at that end." Written on letterhead of cotton merchants A.J. Buston & Co., Liverpool.
