Also describes general life in the city including building, legislative sessions, gambling, and drinking. Ends with a post script: "If you should find an[y] thing here worth publishing you are at libitry [sic] to do as you pleas [sic]. Politics here I do not know about but hope you have good news from the old Granit [sic] state if it is not Whig it ought to be." Also includes typescript transcription of letter.
