Dr. L.P.V. Johnson (1905-1983) attended the University of Alberta from 1927-1933, receiving his B.Sc. and M.Sc. During the 1930's he worked as a research associate at the Central Experimental Farm at Ottawa and as a forest geneticist at the National Research Council.
