McKinley High School oral history project, 1995-[ongoing].

Each summer, McKinley High School students with the assistance of faculty and students from the College of Education conduct interviews on the African-American experience in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Since 1995, the students have conducted interviews on the history of McKinley High School, established in 1926; African-American businesses during the period of segregation; and the history of black churches in Baton Rouge.
