Reports of inspections of the field jurisdictions of the Office of Indian Affairs, 1873-1900 (inclusive), [microform].

The records consist of reports prepared by inspectors for the Indian Service and submitted to the Secretary of the Interior. A typical sequence of documents in an inspection report file is as follows: the letter returning the report to the Secretary of the Interior from the Commissioner of Indian Affairs, the endorsement page, the synopsis of the report prepared in the Indian Division, the basic report, numbered or lettered exhibits, and miscellaneous materials.
