Manuscript fair copy, with some marginal annotations, in a single hand, of dozens of poems apparently by a single author. The poems, many annotated with dates of composition, include elegies, odes, and songs, and contain numerous references to people and places associated with Exeter, Pinhoe and Exmouth in Devon. These include "Pinhoe: To Miss Carpenter;" "View of an Exmouth Apartment;" "Elegy on the Death of Miss Mudge, of Plymouth;" and "On Removing from Pinhoe to Exeter, 1780." There is also a poem addressed to Anne Katencamp, the mother of Wilhelmina Katenkamp, who married the Exeter poet Richard Hole.
