Manuscript, on paper, in a secretary hand, of a translation of La Musica, the second part of Marino's Dicerie Sacre (1614). There are numerous corrections and citations of authorities in an italic hand, possibly by Hawkins himself.

Sir Thomas Hawkins (d. 1640) was a recusant courtier, poet and friend of Ben Jonson.
