Collection of approximately 80 letters, dating from 1980 to 1993, from Al Poulin to Greek artist Konstantinos Evangelatos, along with one letter from Poulin to Turkish poet and translator Kimon Friar. Letters are largely personal in nature, following a trip Poulin made to Greece in 1980, where the men met, and document Poulin's efforts to bring Evangelatos to the United States. Letters also discuss Poulin's writing projects and work, BOA Editions, travel, health, and friends. Accompanied by copies of poems, one dedicated to Evangelatos, and photographs of Poulin, Evangelatos, Friar, and others.
