Bound proof of the first of four parts of Grimaldi's writings, dating from 1810 to 1834, edited by Alexander Beaufort Grimaldi. Writings include open letters, with numerous letters addressed to "Mr. Urban" of Gentleman's Magazine, poems, and historical and genealogical accounts of the Grimaldi, Fitzwilliam, and other English families. The proof, rebound in modern cloth, consists of the printed version (London, 1874) interleaved with holograph drafts pasted in. With corrections and notes, presumably in the hand of Alexander Beaufort Grimaldi.
