Manuscript copy, on paper, in several hands, of a French account and analysis of English and French battles against the Dutch during the second Anglo-Dutch War and the Dutch War (third Anglo-Dutch War). The focus is almost entirely on naval battles, especially those in which Admirals de Ruyter and Duquesne were in command. Events are interpreted from the French perspective throughout; there are mentions of the broader political and commercial goals of Louis XIV.
