Bullet fragment, [ca.1805?].

Bullet fragment, with wooden casket. Accompanying autograph note by Candace C. Burton identifies it as part of the bullet that killed Lord Nelson at the Battle of Trafalgar. According to Burton, the bullet was divided between Captain Thomas Hardy and Master John Hepburn; this fragment was supposedly passed down in the Hepburn family.
