Manuscript, in a single hand, of a collection of copies of legal documents and notes relating to religious houses in Canterbury, England. The collection includes a copy of a manuscript regarding a dispute between the Abbey of St. Augustine and the city of Canterbury; statements "To prove the Borough of Saint Martins to be within the Liberty", "To prove Saint Gregories to be in the Liberty," "Proof that the Augustine Fryars are in the Liberties of the City", "To prove St. Lawrence within the Liberties of the City," and "To Prove the Grey Fryers to be in the Liberty." These statements are followed by a copy of a grant from the Crown to Thomas Spilman of the house and lands formerly belonging to the Grey Friars in the city of Canterbury.
