Such items include The bank note, a seriocomic drama for the pupils of Moulsey Academy; In the churchyard of East Moulsey, lines for the tombstone of Richard Palmer; Letter to Jeremiah Spratley my shoemaker at Moulsey; An epistle to my young pupil Miss Eliza Young; and On the parish of East Moulsey recovering a piece of land from Lord Hotham who had taken it away from the poor. Ehn; The origin of fopping; Song on Mr Martin's act to prevent cruelty to animals; and Woman's love. Several of the entries at the beginning of the manuscript are prefaced by copies of letters between Walker and Edward Edwards of Oswestry, discussing the works. At the end of the volume is a collection of music scores, representing the tunes to which the songs in the rest of the volume are to be sung.
