Precedents issued by the Secretary of State's office, 1662-63 and 1674.

Manuscript, in a single secretary hand, of a collection of almost a thousand warrants, bills, and other royal commands, on such subjects as political appointments, salaries, leases, prisoners, and coinage. The collection includes a lease of Suffolk stables to the Earl of Suffolk; a grant for George Moxon, "a poor boy," to have his livery as one of the children of the Chapel Royal; a warrant to secure suspicious persons in London and Westminster; a warrant to deliver Sir Henry Vane out of the Tower to be beheaded; a command for Quakers to be released from Salisbury; a stipend to the apothecary of the royal household; and a grant to Thomas Killigrew and Sir William D'Avenant to erect and govern two playhouses.
