Manuscript, in a single hand, of a copy of Townshend's Historical collections (London 1680), near-daily journal of the activities of Parliament, including debates over bills, speeches, and the movements of the Queen. The manuscript contains slight variations from the printed work, including several extra notes and numerous copyists' errors. At the end of the work is a "Catalogue of the acts read in this Parliament," (p. 337), arranged chronologically, followed by a list of Members of Parliament arranged by county; a copy of the Spanish general Juan d'Aquila's letter to Ireland, "written to the Irish Catholiques"; and Lord Keeper Sir Thomas Egerton's speech in the Star Chamber on February 13, 1601/2.
