The first three volumes "Randolph I," "Randolph II," and "Randolph III: Index to Proper Names" pertain to Thorn-Drury's work on Thomas Randolph (1605-1635). Volume Four contains notes on various seventeenth and eighteenth century writers including William Hicks, James Howard, William Winstanley, William Wycherley, John Dryden, William Cavendish, John Crown, Thomas Rawlins, Edward Ravenscroft, etc. Volume Five contains notes for Thorn-Drury's Covent Garden Drollery, and Volume Six notes for his Parnassus Biceps.
