Manuscript, in a single hand, of a collection of 50 poems by Beranger, many satirical and on the subject of politics and government, with numerous references to Napoleon Bonaparte. Poems include Le roi d'Yvetot; Voyage au pays de cocagne; Le dieu des bonne gens; Les moutons; Waterloo; and Le cinq Mai 1821. The poems are annotated throughout with explanatory notes.
