Autograph untititled manuscript draft, annotated and corrected on versos, of a religious and political treatise in 9 sections, defending the "real & genuine principles of the Protestant dissenters from the Church of England, as such...whether their sentiments in this case, be worthy of civil punishments, but also how far penal laws for the direction of conscience in the business of religion, are consistent with reason, with truth, with justice, with the nature of society & the design of civil government," and "with the nature and design of the Gospel." Preface addressed to "Sir" and "wise and virtuous senator."
