Manuscript copy by John Walrond, of Morrice's biography of the writer, architect, restoration politician, and Irish Protestant leader Roger Boyle, 1st earl of Orrery, including accounts of: his travels to France and Geneva as an adolescent and his stay with the Calvinist theologian Diodati in Geneva; his role in the Wars of Ireland, the Cromwellian rule, and the restoration of Charles II; his publications. The preface, signed by Walrond (who intended to publish the memoirs) and dated Ottery St. Mary, Devon 15 November 1711, traces the original given to him by one of Morrice's relations after his death.
