[Sermons], 1671-1673.

Manuscript on paper, in a single hand, of seventeen sermons preached by the Rev. Savage between 1671 and 1673. Several are identified as having been preached at Broyle Place (Ringmer, Sussex); one, titled "An Heavenly Treasure in Earthen Vessels," was delivered at an ordination in the Diocese of Carlisle. A funeral sermon on 1 Thess. 4:13 is preceded with a copy of a letter to "Lady Barbara Springett" concerning the death of a relative, and is signed "R.S."
