[Commonplace book], [ca. 1660?].

Manuscript notebook, on paper, containing a series of syllogisms derived from both philosophical and theological propositions, such as "An Logica sit Ars?" and "Baptism may be administered by sprinkling" (argued for both positive and negative positions). The writer shows particular interest in questions concerning baptism, matrimony and the authority and sufficiency of Scripture.
