Manuscript on paper of a work on "the Sherriffes power and duty in management of elections for members of Parliament." The work contains twenty short chapters on various aspects of the sheriff's duties in elections, including summaries of election statutes, directions on the "time, place and manner" of elections, and eligibility requirements for both electors and candidates.
