Thedore Lidz was born in 1910 and received his A.B. degree from Columbia in 1931, and his M.D. in 1936. From 1938 to 1951 he was associated with Johns Hopkins University as an instructor and associate professor of psychiatry (1940-1951), and as an assistant professor of medicine (1947-1951). He served as a professor of psychiatry at the Yale University Medical School from 1951 to his retirement in 1978. He died on February 16, 2001. Ruth Wilmanns Lidz was born in Germany...
