Bound manuscript ledger compiled for William Blathwayt, containing information on revenues received and expended in the colonies of New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Jamaica, Virginia, Barbados, and Bermuda. Especially full details are given for New York and Massachusetts, with information on disbursements made to defend the provinces from the French and Indian allies, including the information on the activities of Peter Schuyler, and the massacre at Deerfield. There is also information on the output of the presses of William Bradford and Bartholomew Green. For New York in particular, there are customs receipts for imports and exports, the name of every ship with dutiable freight, names of the masters and merchants sending the goods, port from or to which bound, names of all goods carried, and their quantities.
