Mes pelerinages : Londres Ems Wiesbaden Frohsdorff, ca. 1848-1883.

Holograph manuscript recounting the travels of the Comtesse de Grandville. The main focus of the work is the Comte de Chambord, the last Bourbon pretender to the throne of France, whom the comtesse accompanied during a period of his life in exile, traveling between London (in 1843-44) and Frohsdorf, Austria, where the Comte spent most of his life. While the text is filled with observations of famous sights in London, Germany, and Austria, as well as numerous literary quotations and religious testaments, it serves as a chronicle of the daily activities of French royalty in exile in the mid 19th century.
