AL written in an unidentified hand, from chiefs of Osage Nation, addressed to John B. Treat, Arkansas Post, concerning agreements made with whites for peace between Indian tribes. The chiefs report continuing warfare with other Indians and ask for assistance in maintaining peace and protecting trade. Part of the letter, possibly including signatures, is cut away.
