Williams family collection of Tennyson family letters, 1869-1962.

A collection of letters addressed to members of the Williams and Wynn-Williams family from the Tennyson family, including Arthur Tennyson, Matilda Tennyson, Emily Tennyson Jesse, Harriet West Tennyson, and Frederick Tennyson. (No letters by Alfred Tennyson are in this collection.) These are all affixed in an album labeled "Tennysoniana" which also contains eight cartes de visite of members of the Tennyson family and a number of pencil and ink sketches, some of which may be caricatures of Tennyson family members. Included with the album are a citation to Derwas Wynn-Williams from the Home Guard and a number of loose items: a letter by Arthur Tennyson; several letters by Matilda Tennyson; one letter by Margaret Wynn-Williams; one letter by E. Hawkins; clippings; two loose sketches; and a number of photographs, likely of the Williams family.
