Zhitie velikago Petra, [ca. 1748].

Autograph manuscript transcription, written in an unidentified hand, of a Russian translation of Catiforo's biography of Peter the Great. This translation, made in 1737 by Stepan Pisarev, was based on a Greek translation by Alexander Cancellarius (Venice, 1737) and was published in Saint Petersburg in 1772. Accompanied by notes and correspondence of former owners.
