Lettres de Jules Chéret, peintre : à son ami Alidor Delzant : Paris, 1887-1904.

Sixty-two ALS and notes bound in vellum with autograph manuscript title page signed by Delzant and dated September 19, 1903. Letters include four ALS from Chéret's wife, Marie, to Delzant. Bound with the letters is a photograph and a clipping of an engraved portrait of Chéret, a birth announcement created by Chéret for Delzant's daughter, a death announcement for Chéret's mother, and a sketch by Chéret clipped from a newspaper. Tipped in the volume is an unused, undated color postcard reproduction of a Chéret poster from the Kunstgewerbemuseum, Zurich, probably added to volume by a later owner.
